Review – CleanView® Vacuum with OnePass® Technology™ 1816C

April 7, 2014By 16 Comments

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been doing something we generally are not big fans of; vacuuming. It is a process I am not a fan of and since introducing a dog with hair into our home it has become a task I’ve done a lot of. Over the past 6 months one of my biggest struggles was the dog hair. It is literally everywhere and the vacuums I have just weren’t cutting it. Nothing could get the dog hair off of the couch and well; I hit a point of frustration.

Until now…

Bissell CleanView Vacuum Warriors!

Alright, so sure it has been awhile since we reviewed something over here. It is not because we haven’t wanted too; we just haven’t had much luck with products until now. This bad boy has made my skin tingle in excitement and has also proven to me that dog hair is beatable!!!

My home has no carpets. None. I ripped them all up. It does however have rugs; lots of rugs. I like rugs. They are fancy. Rugs seem to hold a lot and display a lot more than what you’d see in a full room carpet. This of course has me vacuuming a lot. This also has me in a tiffy often because I dislike dirty looking rugs.

The Bissell CleanView vacuum with OnePass technology wins the Oh My Gerd! Award. It is amazing. Not only did it pick up the dog hair but I was thoroughly disgusted by my rug and other vacuum that is now living in the dungeon. One rug and I was required to dump out the canister where the dirt goes.

Upon attempting to empty the canister; I quickly discovered this vacuum was going to tick me off when emptying. I am a lefty… it wasn’t designed for awkward lefties. It is a push button system where the bottom opens up and lets all the dirt out. For the normal, not awkward person you’ll love this feature. It is so easy to do, even WeeMan could do it. I just am in so many ways awkward and couldn’t hold it correctly to get it to dump.

*Note: WeeMan is also a lefty… point proven on my awkwardness

Just amazing!

Alongside the CleanView Vacuum with OnePass Technology I also have the opportunity to review the Bissell ProHeat 2X Premier™ Multi-Surface Deep Cleaner. This review will be a few days as I am still giving it a go on multiple surfaces because lets face it… he needs a very thorough, deep review!

Exciting news; you have the chance to win your very own Bissell Canada Prize pack! Head on over to the giveaway to do so!!
