Want to make some noise in your house? Then you’ll love this LEGO DUPLO challenge. Today we are creating our own LEGO DUPLO drum set in participation with Day Six’s Rat-a-tat-tat activity! Now my children tend to get excited when I actually allow them to make banging noises, because in the end, I hate noise.
I royally dislike banging, so they got a lot of joy out of this activity. It was a pretty simple concept, that created a lot of hype in our home. Want to see how you can do this activity on your own? Check it out now!
LEGO DUPLO 30 Days of Play Challenge – Day Six
Build one drum, then add two, and you’ll hear something new. Build three drums of three different sizes. Use the hatchet as a drum stick and play; listen to the different tones. Have fun learning about beat, rhythm, and tone. You’ll also help your little one understand that different materials have different properties and that size and shape can affect sound.
This play activity has been developed to support fine motor skills and ideas & creativity. Let’s just say, this creation became a very loud one and was a lot of fun seeing my kids making their LEGO DUPLO into their own instruments!
My guys did do their best at recreating this challenge but of course made it their own! Check out their creation now.
