Here at MommyMatter, we were quite thrilled to be selected to review the Milk Bone Healthy Favorites product line recently released. As dog owners, we know how hard it can be to find healthy treats not over filled with useless fillers for our dogs and were really excited for the latest Milk Bone product release.
So we thought we’d give you a few little tid bits of information about our darling little dog before we gave you our full blown Milk Bone Healthy Favorites review.
Oh Bobbi… good old Bobbi. The longest lived dog in our homes. The shortest, oldest, smelliest dog in our homes. The most spoiled dog in our homes. Bobbi has been apart of our lives since he was a wee little smelly puppy. He is a Silky Terrier, but smells like feet. Bobbi is now 15 years old, and in the vets eyes he is considered a Geriatric. Yes, that means old, very old. Bobbi is was we feel deaf, but I think he just chooses not to listen. He also seems to be going blind, but he is also a dog that isn’t too observant.
What is Bobbi’s worst addiction? Cookies. Every time anyone walks into the house, if he realizes, they are instantly harassed for a cookie. Of course it has become too hard to say no to the old man, especially since he can’t usually hear you, so you just give him the cookie so he stops jumping before he breaks a hip.
Yes, he still jumps and he still jumps high.
No he doesn’t do any tricks. Well, other then nagging for cookies at every waking moment.
Now for our actual review…
Milk Bone Healthy Favorites Product Review
When it comes to dog treats, let’s just say we are a little, overly picky with what our darling little Bobbi consumes. He isn’t bothered by his smelly farts, but we are. He has a severe cookie addiction, so yes he does tend to get chunky if he’s going through a binge. With the Milk Bone Healthy Favorites treats, we were right away pleased with what we were getting. No more of those unnecessary fillers or stuff we ourselves would never consume. If you care about your pets health, then these are treats you’ll want to check out.
With the Milk Bone Healthy Favorites line of products, there is a number of options available to choose from, including:
- Oven Baked Granola Biscuits (beef & chicken flavoured)
- Oven Baked Chewy Treat (beef & chicken flavoured)
Both sets of treat options are made with 100% wholesome products. None of those byproducts we’ve been seeing used everywhere.
With millions of pet parents becoming more concerned with what their pets are consume, it was time Milk Bone released a product that catered to our needs, and they did just that. Upon switching Bobbi to these delicious treats, he isn’t having upset tummies, but he is begging for cookies more regularly, as in, every minute. He usually has a hard time chewing cookies as well, but he had zero difficulty chewing these bad boys. His favorite seemed to be the oven baked chewy treats with the chicken, but he has yet to turn his nose up to any of the treats.
