My family and I are looking ahead to the fall and picking some movies that we are excited to go to the theater and watch together. We left off at the end of July 2015 for our Top 6 summer picks – we still have to go and see Pixels – and we have this time chosen our top 5 movies that we are definitely planning on seeing.

Take a look and let us know if you will be heading to the theater to see these too. 🙂

Fantastic Four:

As I have mentioned before, we are HUGE Marvel fans!! Looking forward to seeing this film on August 7th.

Starring: Kate Mara, Miles Teller, Toby Kebbell, Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Bell, Jodi Lyn Brockton, Tim Blake Nelson and more.

Details from IMBb:

A contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.

Releasing on August 14, the animated film Underdogs looks super cute!

Starring: Bella Thorne, Ariana Grande, John Leguizamo, Matthew Morrison, Nicholas Hoult and more.

In details from AMC Theatre:

From Academy Award winning director Campanella comes UNDERDOGS, an animated comedy with a little bit of magic and a whole lot of heart. Jake (Morrison) is a shy, but talented, foosball player. His passion for the game is rivaled only by his love for free-spirited Laura (Grande). With her encouragement, he beats the town bully, Ace (Hoult), in a foosball game. But everything changes when Ace becomes the world’s best soccer player and returns years later to turn their village into a new sports stadium. He starts to destroy everything and kidnaps Laura in the process. Just when it looks like all hope is lost, the toy figures from Jake’s foosball table come to life. He and the players embark on a wild adventure to save Laura and reclaim their village. With the help of his team, his town, and a little bit of magic, Jake will try to save the day.

Hotel Transylvania 2:

Having enjoyed “Hotel Transylvania,” we will be taking time to go and see this animated sequel. Are you going to watch it? It opens in theaters on September 25th.

Starring: Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez, Andy Samberg, Kevin James, Steve Buscemi, David Spade and more.

Here is the storyline information from IMDb:

The Drac pack is back for an all-new monster comedy adventure in Sony Pictures Animation’s Hotel Transylvania 2! Everything seems to be changing for the better at Hotel Transylvania… Dracula’s rigid monster-only hotel policy has finally relaxed, opening up its doors to human guests. But behind closed coffins, Drac is worried that his adorable half-human, half-vampire grandson, Dennis, isn’t showing signs of being a vampire. So while Mavis is busy visiting her human in-laws with Johnny – and in for a major cultural shock of her own – “Vampa” Drac enlists his friends Frank, Murray, Wayne and Griffin to put Dennis through a “monster-in-training” boot camp. But little do they know that Drac’s grumpy and very old, old, old school dad Vlad is about to pay a family visit to the hotel. And when Vlad finds out that his great-grandson is not a pure blood – and humans are now welcome at Hotel Transylvania – things are going to get batty!

Love Peter Pan, and we are hoping this telling of the story is a good one. Catch this movie on October 9th.

Starring: Cara Delevingne, Amanda Seyfried, Hugh Jackman, Rooney Mara, Garrett Hedlund, Nonso Anozie, Paul Kaye, Levi Miller and more.

IMBb wrote the storyline as this:

The story of an orphan who is spirited away to the magical Neverland. There, he finds both fun and dangers, and ultimately discovers his destiny — to become the hero who will be forever known as Peter Pan.

Jem and the Holograms:

Jem and the Holograms looks very interesting, and I am excited to see Stefanie Scott from Disney Channel’s “A.N.T. Farm” on the big screen! This will arrive in theaters on October 23rd.

Starring: Molly Ringwald, Juliette Lewis, Stefanie Scott, Ryan Guzman, Hayley Kiyoko, Aubrey Peeples, Nicholas Braun and more.

Plot information from IMBb:

As a small-town girl catapults from underground video sensation to global superstar, she and her three sisters begin a journey of discovering that some talents are too special to keep hidden.
