There is one thing I’ve been attempting to do heavily, and that is improve my everyday eating habits. I am a person that is very unlikely to eat anything before dinner. I know, so unhealthy! I just always run out of day before I realize I haven’t ate, and half the time there isn’t anything in the fridge I want.

Recently, I was introduced to a new product apart of the General Mills family, Yoplait Source Greek Yogurt. Now, I am someone who does struggle consuming dairy products. It’s not an intolerance to all dairy products but there are quite a few that upset my pathetic little stomach. This yogourt has not done this to me! I can eat excessive amounts of it and feel golden.

Since I am attempting to improve my diet, I’ve started incorporating juicing and smoothies into my eating schedule. I will wake in the morning, whip up either a batch of juice or smoothies. I of course turned towards the smoothies quite quickly and started incorporating Yoplait Source Greek Yogurt to thicken the smoothies. Best idea ever!

The texture of the yogurt itself is rather thick when compared to other yogourt options and a great addition to any fruit smoothie. I’ve fallen in love and now I thought I’d share my little recipe I make at least 5 times a week.

Spring Sensation Smoothie Recipe

That’s right, I created a title for my little smoothie must try recipe! Now into the yumminess.

Ingredients

  • 1 handful of strawberries
  • 1 handful of blackberries
  • 1 peach
  • 1 banana
  • 5 tablespoons (75ml) of Yoplait Source Greek Yogurt
  • 10 tablespoons (150ml) apple juice

Because I own a juicer and a Nutri-Bullet, I have the option to juice the fruit or leave the thicker. With this recipe I am more prone to use my Nutri-Bullet to improve the texture. If you’re looking to make it not as thick, use a juicer and add in the apple juice and yogurt to the juice from the fruits. I also make my own apple juice to avoid excessive sugar from concentrated apple juices.

This recipe is great for increasing energy, immunity and is fabulous for your skin too! It is jam packed full of delicious nutrients that make every day a breeze.
