There are some things in this world we love, and some things we do not. Personally, I am not generally a big crescent fan and Annette isn’t much of a chocolate fan, so having the opportunity to try out the new Pillsbury Chocolate Crescents was not only a risk for our taste preferences but also an opportunity to be conformed.
We’ve been testing a lot of different products lately and lots of different foods. Out of all the foods we’ve been trying, this was one that had us a little worried.
We were walking into this with tongues that aren’t fans of chocolate and crescents, but we both knew we had to try!
Pillsbury Chocolatey Crescents Converted Us!
Now don’t go thinking I am going to be requesting crescents everywhere I go and Annette’s going to start gorging herself full of chocolate. We absolutely loved the Pillsbury Chocolatey Crescents. I know! I was even surprised. When I was making them all I could think was, oh why am I doing this, I don’t like crescents. Kept saying to myself, just because I don’t like crescents doesn’t mean the kids can’t like them.
The kids got one each of the 8 crescents. I took over 2 to Annette so her and Papa could both try, and I ate the rest to myself. Yep. I pigged out and man it felt OH SO GOOD. I am a chocolate nut myself, but not much of a bread person.
The chocolate that is included with these crescents isn’t too sweet and not too bitter. It was perfect. Yes, I am judging the chocolate. The crescent, didn’t even have that sour crescent taste I’ve grown to hate over the years. No, it was absolutely amazing.
Annette also quite enjoyed these. She is a crescent fan but not a chocolate fan so we both were definitely testing ourselves with these bad boys.
Pillsbury Chocolatey Crescents are a new must have in our home. They were so easy to make and tasted great both hot & cold. 10 minutes to bake and bam! You got yourself a delicious treat.
Best part of all of this, they are freaking Pillsbury! I love most things Pillsbury and will gladly try anything of theirs at least once. I have gone and bought several more packages of the chocolate crescents because I am what you would call, addicted.
Go out, buy them. Love them. They are scrum-diddly-umptious!
